Terms of service

1. Acceptance

By creating a workspace or installing the Veric CLI you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

2. Service description

Veric provides a static-analysis service for dbt and warehouse SQL. Findings are delivered via the CLI, CI integrations, and the web dashboard.

3. Free and paid plans

The Free plan is provided at no cost subject to usage limits listed at /pricing. Paid plans are billed in advance via Stripe. Seat counts are measured monthly.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to analyze code you do not have rights to, to reverse-engineer the analyzer, or to build a competing product using our output.

5. Data handling

Veric analyzes code and metadata only. Row-level customer data never transits Veric systems. See Privacy and DPA for specifics.

6. Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may terminate for material breach with 30 days’ notice, or immediately for abuse or non-payment.

7. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided “as is.” Static analysis is imprecise by nature; Veric may produce false positives and false negatives.

8. Limitation of liability

Veric’s aggregate liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid during that period.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
